Brad Porter

We regrettably announce that Brad Porter, has had to step down as our Mens First Grade Coach due to work and family commitments.

Brad has released the following statement:-

“I’d like to thank everyone involved with Kanwal-Warnervale Rovers Football Club for their support over my time at the club. In particular, the Executive Committee of Ross Ankrett, Chris Tatum and Tony Oehm who have been unwavering in their backing throughout the highs and lows.

Being my first junior club, Kanwal will always hold a special place in my heart and it’s difficult to walk away. But it’s time to focus on other areas, not least my growing, young family.

Finally, the biggest thanks goes to the players. Some I’ve worked with for a short time, others I’ve coached from U16’s through to the first team. Each and every one of you has contributed in some way to making the past 7 seasons undoubtedly my most enjoyable and rewarding in football.

I’d like to wish Ryan Walker and the squad all the very best for the coming season and beyond, and can only hope the boys continue to park the bus and pump it.

We would like to thank Brad for his commitment to our Squad teams and wish him well for the future.

Ryan Walker will take on the reigns as Coach until the end of the season, he has full support of the players and we wish them all well for the season.
