Stage 1 Return to Training Information

We trust that everyone has remained safe during these difficult unprecedented times.
On a positive note, we have received from Central Coast Football a guidance on a Return to Football Training Stage 1 for the Central Coast.
This has been developed in accordance with the current ‘NSW Public Health Order’, and we do expect further changes as we all adapt through the impact of the COVID-19 virus. We all need to work together, know our responsibilities and adhere to the guidelines.
Our website and facebook page will be updated as any further changes become known.
Stage 1 of the return to training, involves players returning to limited training sessions effective from the 1st June 2020. Links to these are lister below.
Training sessions will be limited to a maximum of 10 people, so 9 players and a coach or manager. Sessions will be predominantly fitness and skill based in defined areas. There is to be no contact game play and social distancing of 1.5m is to be adhered to.
The Stage 1 Training Schedule will be uploaded and these allow for the smaller groups to be spread out further. This may mean the Coach has to ‘stagger’ involvement during training to ensure the guidelines are stringently met.
Please bear with us at this stage, as some training times may not suit everyone, but in the absence of training time requests, we have allocated space for each team to commence.
Signage will be at the fields advising people of appropriate distancing behaviours, these are also on our facebook and website. Over the last few months, we would expect that people would have an good idea of what is required as far as social distancing goes.
We ask parents not to congregate around the fields but either drop their children to training and then pick them up at the allotted time or wait in an area away from the training sessions.
We as a Club will try to educate everyone on what is expected via the links provided below, facebook and the website in the first few weeks but will not be policing these rules. The onus is on you all as well. The guidelines are based around the NSW Public Health Order currently in place and are being policed by the NSW Police Force. Anyone found to be in breach of the public health order is subject to the possibility of police prosecution / fines. It is Law.
Any person suffering from flu like symptoms is asked to stay at home. Any person who comes in contact with a positive case of COVID-19 is asked to inform the club immediately so steps can be taken to ensure the safety of our football community. A sanitizing station will be available outside the clubhouse on training nights and the toilets will be open.
Changerooms shall remain locked, as per information provided to us on the return to training. Toilets will be opened for use.
Be very aware that at this stage, this is a return to limited training only, no game play. If coaches or managers of individual teams have any questions please contact us via email. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
